Murder Most Foul

You have been invited to take part in a weekend murder mystery event that you will never forget.

You've been selected to take part in a private murder mystery party at The Pinner House in Suffolk, Virginia on October 24th and 25th. The cost per person is $90, which will cover the following:

  • Your overnight stay at the beautiful Pinner House Bed and Breakfast

  • A catered dinner on the 24th

  • A catered breakfast on the 25th

  • A special, never-before-played murder mystery written especially with you in mind

This mystery is especially created with safety in mind, during this time of the pandemic, so there will only be as many as 9 people total in the house at any one time. All food will be catered for your safety.

What is the mystery about?

You’ve been brought here under false pretenses. Someone sent you a letter, detailing how you were invited to be on a reality television show.

You were brought here by helicopter and left on this remote island with no way out except by flight. The only thing on the island is this gorgeous mansion that you are now standing in. This definitely doesn’t look like a reality TV show, but there are cameras following you around. Even so, something doesn’t seem right...

You’re surrounded by a strange cast of characters who have also been delivered to this island, and each one seems to be here under a different pretense. Speak with all of them. Learn their stories. You have all been lied to, and you are determined to get to the bottom of it.

How do I join?

And that's it! You will receive your character information, check-in and check-out times, as well as room arrangements at a later time.

What do I pack and what do I wear?

On the evening of October 24th, arrive at the Pinner House (time to be determined) dressed for a a meet-and-greet party with your fellow contestants of the reality TV show. Since this mystery takes place in the present day, your outfit/costume should be something that you would wear to a cocktail party.

What should you bring for the weekend?

  • Toiletries

  • Pajamas

  • Something to wear the next morning that you think your character would wear (character information to be provided later)

  • Any snacks or soft drinks that you would like to have for the evening/morning between meals
